I can't say the landing was smooth (high winds and rain... and a MESS at ORD last night), but then the Capt will often give the landing to the copilot anyway, so you never know.
The 1P next to me got a personalized note; I have never received one in my 80,000 BIS with UA (yes, I'm a newbie).
