I have been in business class on both Air France and Swissair in the past year. Bos-CDG, Bos-ZRH, JFK-CDG and JFK-ZRH. The comparison is that on SR the seats are bigger and longer, the atmosphere more informal. The food and wine on AF are much better, and the service is more formal. I am used to France, having lived there- and I prefer most things on AF except the seats- unless I had gotten a french flight crew on a "bad mood in France" day, which probably happens from time to time! (my crews were serious, but excellent) BY the way, an informed Delta agent told me on the side that things like base miles for an AF flight, and further FF program coordinations would only come after the New Year. I don't think she had yet a clear picture of what these will be, though.
