Looking for advice from other divers out there. What equipment do you typically carry on to your flights and what do you check? Any horror stories of equipment getting broken in checked baggage that you wish you had carried on? Obviously the big no-no is tanks, which aren't allowed, which is not a problem for me, I plan on renting. I will be going to Kona at the end of the month. Direct flight from LAX on UA.
