I forgot to checkin online for a 7:06 flight to SJC this AM. When I got to T7 at 06:30 , the elite checkin line was 30 people deep! Two out of the six or seven FunkyChickens were down, so there was a few minutes waiting there. Ironically, just as the chicken was telling me I couldn't have a boarding pass because the flight was cancelled, my phone rang with an automated message....

So I blew the trip off, but on the way back to my car, I noticed the security line on the upper level was pretty light. However, I've been there later in the morning and it's been halfway across the jetway.

So I'd say if you're checking bags and need to check in with the agent, 6 AM at the latest.
