Hi,

I think this year there was an ATR of an north african airline? which ditiched off the coast of sicily. There were fatalities and survivors.

IIRC, I read somewhere that in the 60's a DC8 ( Japan Airlines made textbook landing into Tokyo? Bay with its gear down whilst landing- minimal damage and the crew survived ( no pax on board i think)
