One thing you should remember, it a LIFETIME membership that may be the shortest of YOUR lifetime or AA's.

My PanAm Clipper Club lifetime was a really good deal. When they folded the lifetime was convertible into a lifetime Delta Crowne Room.

I got great use out of the TWA Ambassador Club , but when they folded AA, only gave a 3 year AC membership. This did not matter, since I had bought my wife a Senior's AC membership for $800 about 10 years ago.
