I have two new questions that I thought I'd combine into one post:

1) Delta's SkyMiles program guide and web site say nothing about an Avis rental having to be taken in association with a Delta flight to get SkyMiles credit, but the Avis web site leads me to believe otherwise. Please refer to:

Does anyone know if you can get credit from an Avis rental if it isn't in association with a Delta flight?

2) How long should I wait for the 1000 miles SkyLinks reservation bonus after I have flown that trip?
