Damon, having worked at DL in reservations in the early 90's as part of a second job, this will probably affect this weekends trip for mileage credit because the names don't match on the ticket. DL's system back then would kick out of a record any ff # that did not match the name on the ff # with the name on the reservation. For example, Damon Q. Public, if listed as Public Damon would create a problem. You might call Delta, and depending on your status, have some luck, but I truly think the only way to resolve this is to do what you have done. But I am sure it will not be by this weekend, since they usually take around 30-60 days to get to the letters. They receive hundreds a day. I could be wrong here and things may have changed, but years ago, the system was set up to prevent fraud. Now with Pin Numbers that pull up your Skymiles account when you call may be just what you need to get a resolution on the phone.
