I know for sure because I am stuck here for 14 hours and lucky for me used a VIP to get back to DFW because there is no lounge access for even EXP flying in coach on AA. There is a CX lounge here but they will not let OW members in.

When I told the AA rep here she said I was told wrong so she called over to CX lounge and was very surprised when she was also told AA elites could not use the lounge. Other then the little food they have which is a lot more than JL lounges it is no loss. Small without windows and no internet. JL lounge is nice but no food and only for business and first class passengers. Looks like this will not change here until JL joins OW so all you elites be careful of this route if you are flying in the back of the plane.

One more thing about KIX, if you do not come in with your boarding pass and are using an e-ticket for your connection they can make life very tough here. Took me an hour to get through transfer security and then two more to get into the lounge here. You can not get an AA boarding pass here before 3:30.
