I got my card yesterday too, but surprise...this isn't new. I have been using it since at least 1996. What's frustrating me though is that I was on a flight last week CVG-LAX and wanted to call the line, well...now it says to swipe your Platinum Medallion Card through. Guess what...my card strip on my card can't be read, so I couldn't make the call. I went to the DL Website and ordered a replacement one.

I suppose making one swipe the PM card now is a good thing for DL. I've been using the line for years and they never knew I was a PM until I would identify myself through my Skymiles number or record locator. It's made it really handy for making changes or verifying actual landing times, etc. But I also wonder how many non-PM's knew about it.
