My desired dates for travel are 19/12/05 London-Germany-Tokyo, return 02/01/06 (maybe later) Tokyo-Germany-London.

After playing the merry-go-round game with many LH agents, I've got about 10 different answers regarding the new business class. Because the KIX route is on an A346, they've told me that that route is on the new C.

The Munich-Tokyo route is operated on a 3 class config, so I have been told 75% of the time no new business here. The Frankfurt-Tokyo route is on a 744: At the moment, I've been given a 50% Yes and 50% No on the return dates.

So this is what I will probably do:

OUTBOUND 19/12 LHR-FRA-KIX and then onto HND on 2 separate tickets.
RETURN 02/01 (maybe later) NRT-FRA-LHR

For my outbound, I will fly to KIX (arrives 0845) and then take an ANA flight to HND (leaves 0955). Do you think this would be enough time to go through immigration, clear customs, check in again , go through security etc? Or would LH at LHR check me in for my NH flight (eticket) even if they are on separate tickets? Alternatively, I can always buy the ticket once I am there in Japan and try and make that flight if poss: if not I can always bus it to ITM and take a shuttle flight to Tokyo.

Another option I have on the outbound is to go through MUC as well. The fare difference is only the airport tax (20GBP or so), so isn't that much. As all of you on this thread have said that MUC airport is really nice, I really want to visit it! If i would take this option (LHR-MUC-FRA-KIX) , I'd have 1hr25mins in MUC and 1hr in FRA. Would this be enough for connections and my bags to go from one flight to another? Ignoring MUC (LHR-FRA-KIX) would be a 2 hour wait at the airport. Should I just fly to FRA directly?

On the return, because I've been given the 50/50 answer, I'm hoping for the new C. But I'd rather not go through KIX again because I don't want the hassle of travelling to Osaka on an early morning flight! So fingers crossed on that!

Thanks for taking your time in reading this! Please leave any comments/suggestions you may have.
