IAD security lines are the worst. Seems to me TSA puts most of the staff at DCA, where more of the Congress folks and other government big wigs travel, and they short change IAD. BTW, this isn't just a peak travel time issue. I got there at 9 PM for a 10 PM flight and had to wait 45 minutes to get through security. TSA, in their infinite wisdom, shuts down most lines. Guess they wouldn't want to spoil anyone with a short wait at IAD!
