Well not quite arrested or detained but it was an almost couldabeen situation. I was on a *A RTW trip, for the fly 5, get 55k bonus promo. Flying between Australia and Europe I wanted my longhauls to be on SQ, but I needed TG for an airlines as part of my 5. So I flew MEL-SIN-BKK-SIN-AMS..... I got to BKK, went to the transfer desk, to get my BP back to SIN. She asked where I came from, and the answer was of course SIN. She took her time issueing my BP, making some phone calls at the time too. I got to my gate, and was waiting in line to enter the gate area, when a bunch of Thai police officers arrived, together with some western looking people. I didn't think anything of it, until I sat down, and one of the gate agents pointed to me, and they all started coming towards me. First thing was they asked to see my passport, which they took back to the desk where they started analysing it, i can't remember exaxctly, butthey could've had magnifying glass or something. I can't remember it was a number of years ago. Eventually they came back and asked to see my ticket, which I showed them as well. Since everything was fine they asked what I was doing. I didn't tell the exact truth, I said TG was full to Europe, so I had to fly SQ, which meant head back to SQ. I didn't exactly want to say that I didn't think much of TG. Anyway, after all that I went on my way. No fake passport, no terrorists, just some weirdo flying for miles.
