Had a CE flight recently to BCN. I chose to go via LGW as I am the same distance apart from LGW and LHR. From what friends have told me it was a smart move. I was aware that LGW was not affected by the GG fiasco, so that made my mind up. My next BCN trip is again in CE, via LGW. Going with a group of friends to the GP in May. Looks like LGW will remain my preferred option for at least the next 6 months.
ick - bit late to offer my advice warning but don't fly to Bcn from heathrow unless you're fancying a T1 burger king before departure. altho the morning flight on the 767 is great - its always empty, and they don't seem to give 2 sh!ts about baggage allowance either!
am living in Bcn at the moment, and all my flights home so far have been to gatwick, as i haven't yet seen them give vouchers at BCN (officially called "El Prat" - altho have seen more than one prat behind the desks there)
