I could be wrong ChuckD, but you seem to keep missing his real point, which is clearly stated:

For the CSR to say what was quoted earlier is just adding fuel to the fire. Which given how this whole affair has been handled should not be happening at this point in the process. It's one thing to make a mistake, but it is another thing entirely to make a false statement about the mistake.
