Oh, yes, did I ever send a letter of complaint. I'm not hopeful of results - a few frequent flyer miles is probably the best I can hope for, but I was annoyed enough that its going to be hard to satisfy me.
Interestingly, the service was much, much better on the smaller planes - the 727's from ROC to ATL. I seem to always like Delta better on their smaller jets - they just do a better job on them.
