We flew PDX to ATL on March 25. The flight originated in Japan and was a newly configured MD 11 with Business Elite service. Many of the seats did not work - the manual overides were also not operable. My wife's seat was stuck in an upright position for the entire flight. The video's didn't work, nor did the "call buttons." Even the tray table did not operate correctly, the flight attendant put a table cloth over a stuck, half opened tray. The room from the seat to the seat in front was incredible, but the electronic Biz Elite seats just didn't work. I would have been happier with the old seats.
