e flight deck announcememts....i have 2 comments...1, i would rather that they wouldn't talk about an early arrival or touchdown...the gate arrival time is what is important to me....often, after hearing "well, we are here early", we are put in the penalty box waiting for a gate, & arrive late..if there are no disruptions due to weather, etc, then ok....but if there is weather anywhere in the us, then please don't say anything...

2...i would appreciate it if, when making the landing pa, you would give what i call the "10 minute warning", which is instead of we are about x minutes out , the conditions are, hope you enjoyed the flight, etc, immediately followed by the ding of the seatbelt light going on, do it earlier, when conditions permit, giving us olders [and infrequent flyers], the opportunity to use the blue room with out having to disobey the directions of the crew [which are a federal offence per other pa's]....i understand that the turbulance, etc, may prevent this courtesy to the pax, but my beautiful wife & i would would appreciate it....thanks a lot, i like the service aa provides...good luck to all of you.
