The publicity of the Expedia and Hilton pricing would have been worth its weight in gold if they had actually honored the (relatively few in the scheme of worldly things) bookings that were made. However, they chose to cancel it and seem to be garnering more negative publicity than I can even comprehend. Not only were the bookings canceled, it sounds like some were not, the goodwill "coupon" does not work as was promised, and representatives keep pointing their fingers at the "other" company as blame.

Of course, then again, Paris does have a cute dog to feed, so I can understand where the loss would come into play.
