I'll be traveling and staying at Foz do Iguacu and I'm wondering if I should stay in the hotels near the park or at hotels that are located in the town itself. We only have a full day to see both sides of the falls, so, our schedule is a little tight. Would hotels in the town have access to more nightlife and restaurants as well?

I am considering the following three hotels:
Rafain Palace Hotel - Midway bet. downtown, Itaipu & Paraguay (4*)
Colonial Iguacu - Near the entrance to the Park(3*)
Hotel San Martin - Near the entrance to the Park(3*)
