NH F (New Style) is really, really, really good. It may not be as opulent as SQ (leather, wood, etc), but there's a lot of personal space. The bed is very wide and very comfortable. The food is excellent and the service is precise AND friendly. I honestly think that NH is the best kept secret in air travel

Also, you'll get Connexion on NH...

On the down side the front of a 744 is more private than the front of a 777. IFE on NH (although very similar to the system used by SQ) doesn't have as much variety.

I've flown NH F (both new and super style) and SQ J (all ex-LAX). I didn't particularly like SQ J as the food was nasty and the service was not up to the expectations set by FT (FAs kept forgetting things or bringing me the wrong thing).
