dont forget, you are NOT supposed to pay for the additional driver. But you should fill out the additional driver form anyway. If they say you dont need the additional driver form, tell them "it would be safer than trying to explain domestic partnership rules on the side of the road if something happens."
if the employee gives you grief, then simply ask for a manager and say "I do understand that domestic partners are allowed, but for my partners and my protection I would like to fill out the paperwork anyway to cover my bases."
