Incorrect. If you book something that you know is a mistake and the other party, in a timely manner, disaffirms the contract, then there is no valid claim for breach of contract. However, as happened here, if the other party has an unreasonable delay in disaffirming the contract or affirms the contract, then there is a valid contract and the harmed party certainly has a valid claim. Expedia both explicitly affirmed these contracts and they had an unreasonable delay in trying to disaffirm them (waiting almost a week is unacceptable).
