If one night of sleep apnea gives him an "apnea-induced" heart attack it was going to happen anyway within days. Sleep apnea doesn't work that way. Based on your microsleep theory, the airlines should provide lie-flat seats to everyone so that they sleep well on the plane so that they don't have an accident the next day. Children should be banned from flights because they make too much noise and people can't sleep.
