Firstly, my compliments for your sensitivity. That in itself should merit an upgrade

Secondly, I'd go for it, and suggest volunteering if your schedule can accomodate. Then, you might get an upgrade and some sizeable TC's to boot. More knowledgeable minds will follow, but I'm thinking of John Candy in Planes, Trains & Automobiles...
