When you checked in at SIN, did SQ provide you with boarding passes all the way to you final destination (including the UX flight) or just the SQ sector?
Without any hesitation I was welcomed, and they even re-printed my boarding card for the UX flight on UA stock. They were fully aware of my circumstances and made no disclaimer about it being a special exception. That has led me to believe that it is a standard benefit. In any case, go to the international F lounge and be nice and they will probably let you in.
Thank you, I am hoping this is the case, but either way, it is not a big deal.
[Not being at all familiar with the International F Lounge] If they
do let me in, does the F lounge have shower facilities? That might be nice after 20 or so hours of travel before connecting, provided I have the time.
