One other thing to keep in mind when considering EWR-OGG is that there were two healthy IAH-HNL flights when IAH-OGG was added. Increasing capacity IAH-Hawaii by 50% is one thing. Doubling EWR-HNL capacity would be a much bolder move.

I'd like to see an additional EWR-HNL flight. This would enable them to schedule an earlier morning flight for NYC originating traffic and an early afternoon flight for connecting traffic. The morning flight would arrive in HNL early enough to connect with various interisland flights - this would enable you to get to any island without an overnight in HNL.

I'd also like to see more aggressive neighbor island pricing. One might think that they would capture more revenue by offering better priced codeshare connections to the neighbor islands rather than forcing people to buy an interline ticket or to do beyond ticketing.
