when I flew it, the planes were packed both ways...anytime I have passed by the boarding area at IAH for that flight, I have seen it pretty crowded as well. I don't have hard numbers to say the flight is doing well, but based on personal experience, I can say that it appears quite popular. If it was not doing well, chances are it would have been downgraded to a 767 or scrapped.

If an EWR/OGG nonstop won't work, then perhaps a flight that goes via LAX might be something for CO to consider instead.

Rockdoc, I have seen that JAL 747 at KOA a couple times myself...it is really funny seeing that huge airplane looking so out of place there, but I am glad I didn't have to wait in the check-in line for that flight
