I spoke at great length with HNL-based crew on expanded Pacific/Hawaii service from CO this week.

All they had to say was that EWR-HNL and IAH-HNL frequency and aircraft size (767 to 777) may increase over the next few months but no additional service to new cities is expected.

They did say should UA fold CO would make moves to acquire some Pacific routes...but until that happens, no new cities will be served in the Pacific... Hawaii included.

They also said due to runway issues at OGG, a OGG-EWR flight will not happen.

And last, they did say CO was evaluating possible runs into LIH and KOA but any such additions are a long, long away. For now, EWR-HNL and IAH-HNL/OGG is it.
