xyzzy would probably be correct... friend and i had our co flight out of ewr cancelled december last year when that lovely snow storm hit the ne... of course we could re-book/reschedule since co cancelled the flight... our schedules did not allow us to rebook until early february which, naturally, we had to do by phone w/our original record locator numbers... and our tickets were, of course, originally booked and paid for in those by-gone glory days when booking on/l or by phone got 100% elite miles (no matter whose metal)... after we took our trip a few weeks ago, w/those old, re-worked tickets, they posted to our accounts at 50% elite... a phone call a few days ago to co customer service provided assurance that, since originally booked on/l, we would be credited 100% but that it would take some time as it had to be fixed manually... to date, haven't been able to access the statements on/l (why can't they seem to keep that function, among others, working??)... anyhow, we haven't seen proof yet to confirm it but if customer service says it will be fixed, i think that will be correct... we were told that the first line of defense has no maneuvering room to fix, alter, or edit anything, but customer service does... sounded like a good line, anyhow... we'll see how it pans out
