Another time I was on a "day trip" connecting through PHL with a final destination of somewhere in Ohio (Columbus or Toledo)on USAirways. Well I get to PHL and circle for an hour while the fog clears, then land and sit on the ground for 25 minutes waiting for a gate so I miss my connection. Again I get a full refund and return home on the next flight (I got the milage credit for the segments that I did fly, a meal voucher..etc.) The agent in the Club that processed my refund called it a "trip in vain" refund.
