APC makes an inverter (

Obviously, your CPAP model and it's current draw will be the deciding factors but it IS possible to run one off the Empower port. The inverter limits current draw so it's not as though you can cause damage to the aircraft's electrical system. If there's an overload the inverter simply shuts down.
