AA.com only lists award space on American, American Eagle, and American Connection, and I think it's pretty accurate for those (i.e. you won't find any available space which is not shown on the website). You'll have to call AAdvantage reservations (1-800-882-8880) to see if any award seats are available on American partners. For 25,000 mile itineraries, the only other real possibility is Alaska. Cathay fly New York to Vancouver so if that's what you're after, you should ask about them too. It can't hurt to call but do be aware that there's a $15 fee per ticket booked on the phone.
