As SuperSlug pointed out though, it wasn't like I was stranded in the middle of my itinerary; if they'd gotten me to MSP and blown the connection, then I could understand, but if in fact the purpose of my trip was solely for a meeting, and I knew I was going to miss that meeting, then I'd expect them to refund the ticket at the gate in CID, and I'd just have gone home. My point was that I missed a meeting on Monday, but still needed to get to CLE to work the rest of the week. So although they got me to CLE 4 hours late, they did actually fly me CID-MSP-CLE-MSP-CID that week. I don't really expect a refund, I was just curious to know if others have had any luck with the "I missed a business meeting" and got a refund, since it's not officially in their contracts of carriage. It just seems to be an "unwritten" rule as far as I can tell.
