This has had an impact on my wife going challenge starting Friday & they've not dropped to Gold Challenge as there was no way she'd get PLT in the 3 months allowed.

Plat challenge requires 10K
points
so, you need 20K
miles to complete the challenge on N & S fares.
Same rules apply EVERYWHERE.
