Flying a simulator is indeed a great experience. I flew the Hercules simulator in Trenton Ontario and got to do touch and go in the Belleville area. The visual on the simulator was great; even had the McDonalds in Trenton on approach.

PS: After the experience, I eliminated pilot from my career choices.
