Not true.

Windows Media Player 9 is High Definition ready - you can download IPIX style movies here.

However, you do need a good computer to play them. Connectivity could be interesting.

Not sure how high definition can be delivered on your TV, however I do know on my Projectors it can be accepted via the Component Inputs as well as the HDMI connector. In either 720 Progressive format or the whopping 1080 Progressive version.

HDMI is very similar to DVI yet encrypted and carries sound as well which is more important for your TV eventually. Not as important for projector users like myself as I have a separate Yamaha/Denon THX setup.

The output of your PC graphics card via DVI will be un-encrypted, so I am not sure whether your HDMI socket on your TV will like a non-encrypted signal.

Ask me that question this time next year and I should have hopefully bought myself a nice new HD DVD player with an HDMI socket!
