I wasn't going to say anything, because I thought it was a fluke, but.....
I had reserved and booked an AS flight and reserved my seats on the AS website. I used web check in and all was ok on the outbound. Coming back, I had a problem when I did web check in. The seat I reserved were still there (14F on 737-7) when I brought up the screen for printing my boarding pass, it was magically and mysteriously now 31F. I called web support to mention this, and was told "oh there was an equipment change, and you don't want that seat (14F) The heck I didn't, it was exit row. Well I did catch this and they put me in 9F instead of where whomever decided to assign me 31F. I have zero status on AS and I was thinking maybe it was done because I switched mileage earning to AA credit for the flight instead of AS-MP. I guess it goes to show....check your stuff and double check, if you wait too long you'll get what's left. The unhappy ending to this story is that SOMEBODY will end up with row 31, so who should get it?
