Many NW fares to points in Asia have a stipulation, as part of the fare rules, that states "No Free Japan Stopover Allowed."

This, of course, was written by the same people who constantly tell us that "We do not charge a premium for service to/from our hubs!"

And perhaps they are the same people who have constantly reminded us that there is too much capacity in the Airline Industry, while they continue to order more airplanes!

Oh, that's OK. There is no Commandment that says "Thou shalt not Double-Speak!!!!"
