Did a search and found some general information about Osaka hotels, but didn't see this specific question answered.
Will be headed to KIX in early Dec for a MR (arriving Fri, departing Sun). Goal is to find a *wood that is easy to access from KIX but also within a decent proximity of something to do on a Sat and Sun AM.
Looking at Westin Osaka (although it appears to be in the middle of the business district and not that exciting for our purposes), Kobe Bay Sheraton and Towers, and Westin Awaji Island resort.

The *wood property in Kobe is easy reach of KIX, as about every other Kobe City bus stops at the hotel before continuing on to city center. This run takes 57 minutes, and the bus leaves KIX at 15:25, 15:55, 16:25 etc. You can search the frequency on the web. There also is a hydrofoil from KIX that docks nearby. I will be doing this later this week, and will report back upon return of the options.
