I base this need on a 20 yr old "little black dress" that I paid $105 for --- it has been worn so many times that it owes me NOTHING (lol).

I am looking to replace it because I'm aging -- the dress is still quite smashing! It has short sleeves that I am no longer fond; a zipper that has started to be more troublesome to reach and the same zipper is starting to stick a bit.

Talbots and Chico's doesn't hasn't really had anything I find appealling, but I will check out Travelsmiths.

I was just hoping someone may be able to say: "yes, it's terrific" or "no, it's overrated" ~ if I order it online a do all the Customs & Duty hassle, I better love it because it is a bigger nuisance to return it.
