Don't give me that crap;they used tax money from everyone very freely. Flow through shares and other investment vehicles have accomplished the same things but at least the tax relief was specifically targetted. THe FTQ funds did some good but only in the very socialized environment called Quebec Inc. which is now a failure for the most part.



Well Quebec unions are still 30 years behind the times and are currently strangling the Quebec economy as one Mr. Bouchard and his eminent team just recently announced. And why does Quebec have much higher levels of unemployment compared to Ontario.....look at private investment levels in each province for your answer.




They have less than zero merits in a post industrial society like Canada and in fact cost the country points in the value of our currency and productivity. Some unions have seen the light and once they do the employees realize their union masters are no longer needed.
