sbagal-- Im very sorry this situation. As a EZE native and opera fan, I share your grief and in addition am very embarrased at how this idiotic strike has tarnished the reputation of an otherwise extraordinary theater. Unfortunatetly, politics and labor unions have a way of ruining things.
I read the other day in the papers that the strike itself has now been lifted, but the Colonīs senior management needs to get assuranced that some other issues will first be settled before they decide to continue with the rest of the season. This is the case because the militant groups inside the colon have been known to lift strikes and then strike again just after the theater has re-started operations. I will try to find out more details and post them here as soon as I have them.
