Lounge is fine, not as big as SIN but the food offerings seem more plentiful. Champagne - if only Moet - is normally on offer.
Just to expand on this, you have to clear security at SIN as well - just in a different way. At BKK you clear security before entering the general departures area. At SIN you clear security at the gate just before you board. Neither at really problematic.
You'll be please to hear that, unlike in the LOTNVFAAR*, you don't have to clear immigration in either BKK or SIN.
