Yes.
I used the present participle, indicating that they presently are in the process of cannibalism, which could mean licking chops, setting the table or digging in, to name a few stages. I'd say DL is licking chops at this point, maybe getting to setting the table by putting Song IFE in mainline service and reconfiguring 767s. If your problem is that it hasn't actually happened yet, and that we should wait and see, I'll concede that. But my concerns about DL's shift and what kind of alliance SkyTeam will be moving forward will remain.
DL is planning on flooding Europe with seats, when as an alliance SkyTeam already is overrepresented in trans-Atlantic and intra-Europe service. I'm not the only one here that has concerns that DL is in the process of taking away CO's limited pricing power (and cold, hard revenue) on their trans-Atlantic routes, which isn't exactly being a strategic "team player."
So as DL is adding traffic to Europe, one of the only two partners with significant trans-pac and intra-Asia service (NW obviously being the other one) is becoming less of a partner at least as far as redemptions go. I'm just asking (rhetorically) what kind of team this is.
