IMHO, the HP upgrade system needs some work. Apparently, the upgrade is supposed to be an "automatic" thing when you ticket. However, if you have a DM number you have to call HP reservations and ask to placed in the upgrade queue. Unfortunately, it doesn't end there.
The day you are supposed to clear (based on status) you have to call in again to see if you cleared (since this information cannot be found on the internet). When I called I was told I didn't clear but then the agent was able to "force it through" and I cleared F, which I did appreciate My concern here is that if I as a US1 hadn't called in would I have been overlooked and the upgrade giving to someone else? At least on the US site you can see if you've cleared and it's pretty accurate.
On a different note, HP F is not bad. The food was okay. The warm apple crisp was great. GLASSWARE!!! Unfortunately, they don't have that wonderful little snack basket that we've all come to enjoy. Hope that survives the fallout.
