If you fly Northwest using a Northwest FF#, you will not receive any sort of elite bonus or perks associated with your status on Continental. If you fly Northwest using a Continental FF#, you will receive the elite bonus and status benefits such as First Class check-in, pre-boarding and access to select seating for SkyTeam elite members as well as upgrades, based on availability, for the domestic segments of your itinerary.
