Based on my experiences, I would say that $10-12 per night is a pretty good rate for parking in Waikiki, but I believe that it is possible to pay a lot more. Unless you are visiting several businesses a day, or need to travel outside Honolulu, you could easily find that parking + car rental + gas exceeds cab fares.
