1. Current MQM = 43620
2. Needed = 4480 (I'll get the other 2K from a trip to NY)
3. Based in TPA
4. Destination is not important
5. Available Travel Dates: Weekends (any except Thanksgiving--darn family! )
6. Budget: less than $500

I have looked at dream maps and have some ideas....but how is it again you get all the segments to book? I am terribly confused.

Thanks for your help
Don't look for multi-segment runs on Delta as their new restrictions on 2 transfers each way has been augmented with changes to many of their routing rules which now only allow a single connection each way between major destinations.

In your case, simply try to find a destination on the West Coast with a connection in either ATL or CVG to earn the miles that you need.

You should be able to accomplish this for less than $300 all-in.

Example

Delta 1625 Coach (T)
TPA 8:00am 12 Nov 2005
ATL 9:40am 12 Nov 2005

Delta 395 Coach (T)
ATL 10:40am 12 Nov 2005
LAX 12:20pm 12 Nov 2005

song 2074** Coach (T)
LAX 11:30pm 12 Nov 2005
TPA 6:54am 13 Nov 2005

SkyMiles earned = 4605; MQM earned = 4605

Price per passenger: $264.10 (USD)
