I think you have to contact a TA in China who would be able to courier the ticket to you. Try C-trip at www.ctrip.com or www.elong.net

Pls let me know if you succeed. I have the same problem. I fly into PVG in FEB and would like to contine to HKT (Phuket) directly, presumably via BKK.
